middleasta is 100% hand-made magnesium bike frames manufacturer.

Our frames are made from strong magnesium tubing paired with a full carbon fiber fork, resulting in a super lightweight, fast and responsive ride. 

Each Middleasta track frame is custom built to fit your style. 

Magnesium is similar to aluminium in terms of durability: magnesium even delivers more strength per unit of weight than aluminium and carbon.  

middleasta frames have a ceramic layer (Keronite®) that protects against oxidation, as well as providing other benefits. The Keronite® technology transforms the surface of the material, therefore also preventing the undesirable locking in of metallic particles.

These are distinct advantages when recycling the treated parts at the end of the lifecycle. The Keronite® process is environmentally friendly, as the electrolyte does not contain any dangerous or harmful substances. 

Compared with aluminum and synthetic materials (such as carbon), it takes a relatively large amount of energy to produce the same weight of magnesium. However, it is much more energy efficient to produce a magnesium frame for a racing bike than an aluminium frame. This is because magnesium is one third lighter than aluminum.
